We perform all sort of dental care treatment at Clínica Dental Noruega in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, (Spain). Dental Care is a broad concept. On this page we resume the most common treatments that we perform at the clinic.

Yearly dental control.

The yearly control consists of a proper oral examination including X-ray control if the dentist considers it appropriated. Our clinic offers digital x-rays that allow the process to be simplified, and minimizes the level of radiation to our patients. The pictures can be taken as individual images of each tooth (bite-wing) or as a general view that shows all the teeth and jaw at the same time (OPG). A normal examination must include a full inspection of teeth, gums, tongue and other mouth tissues.

If more extensive treatment is needed, we always give you a written estimate or quote of the various treatment options that are available. For us, it is imperative that you, as our client, have complete understanding of the process and final price of the treatment.

Dental fear and pediatric dentistry.

If you have dental fear then you can feel safe with us at Clínica Dental Noruega in Fuengirola, Spain. We always take the required time to make sure that the dental care treatment meets the needs of each patient, and explain exactly what needs to be done.

During the annual check-ups for minors, we make sure of the state and hygiene of the teeth and the location of the upper jaw and lower respectively. A risk assessment will be done at an early stage, just in case the child should need orthodontics in the future.

Many people have had unpleasant experiences in their childhood when receiving dental treatment. Do not let your children experience the same. Armed with suitable teaching methods for minors, we can control step by step the stages of their milk teeth, and later on, their permanent teeth, this way controlling and applying the needed treatments for good development. The first step is to focus on the importance of having and maintaining a good oral hygiene.

Fillings, crowns and bridges.

Implants

With the loss of teeth in areas of the gum where previously the only solution was dentures, we can now offer a treatment of implants carried out atour own clinic.

We´re using one of the main techniques for implantation in Europe, Straumann, a very well known trademark of great prestige and quality. Since the implants are done in our clinic, our employees carry out rigorous monitoring of the process, providing security and ensuring the success of treatment.

Orthodontic treatment

To help this matter, we have a specialist in orthodontics and repositioning of teeth that evaluates and helps us with the treatment for children who need orthodontics, fixed or demountable. Once a month, Dr. Joaquín Rojas comes to the clinic and does a revision of all our orthodontics patients.

But orthodontics is not an exclusive treatment for children. There is more and more grownups who decide to readjust their teeth to make them more functional and improve their aesthetics.

Cosmetic Dentistry and Bleaching.

Cosmetic dentistry is something that most people nowadays give more importance than in the past. The growing pace of greater awareness of dental and mouth hygiene in general, is on the rise, even appreciating the aesthetic as a requirement in dental treatment. In our clinic we offer adhesive restorations and implant crowns.

The reasons can be various. Whether its intervals between teeth, overlapping or cracking in the tooth enamel, all these problems may be disguised with an adhesive restoration or crowns. The amalgam fillings, that give a dirty shade to the tooth, can be replaced with white fillings that adjust to the natural color of the tooth.

Teeth whitening or bleaching is also a more common treatment. There are two options, to do the bleaching at the clinic during a one hour session, or to do the bleaching at home with a bleaching-kit that we provide you with.
